An Introduction, culmination, and summary to what we called, Kingdom
Research.
By Norval L. Cunningham and Gale Smart.
An Introduction.
There are many today that say the Bible has little,
if any value in our modern society. That is a complete lie. At the very
least it is being said by those that have little, if any real knowledge
of what is wrote in the Bible. In reality it is only because of today's
modern world and it's technologies that we can truly understand the
Bible
and it's message.
Just before I turned twenty one I read the N.T.(
New Testament). Before I was thirty I had read three more bibles. All
were
what I now call abridged versions of the bible, or Ancient Hebrew
Writings.
After having read the Catholic bible and the extra books in it I
was directed by a Greek Orthodox man to read what are called by the
Protestant
as the Apocrypha. There are several other books of Ancient Writings
that
are good to read also. As a
friend says, "it ain't all pie, and it ain't
all bull shit". Although it isn't necessary to read all those
books to understand
the message of the bible, it is essential to have read some of it for
yourself.
Primarily the parts that most religions don't dwell on or just don't
want
you to know about. After all, it is those very religions that have
separated
and taken out books of the bible.
That is what basic bible reading and study is about.
Bible Research is the next step of the discovery process. Learning
about the bible, where it came from and how it has survived these many
centuries. Yes, survived because many have tried to prevent its spread
or attempted
to destroy it. The next best thing is to tamper with what can't be
destroyed. Mix it up a bit, muddy the waters, spread rumors,
deceptions, and lies about the bible. And oh what a marvelous job has
been done in that department
by those that don't want you to know the reality of what that book
really
says.
In doing bible research one goes deeper into what
they have read, looks more closely at the wording and sentence
structures.
The over all wording of the passages and relevance to a whole list of
things. For an example I give the following; most have heard of 666. The
number
of the beast? Yes. But how many have heard of the main other number,
616?
And, yes, there are a couple other numbers tossed in just to really
confuse
the issue. Naturally, it is always
the same tactics, just another day.
Yet it is in the oldest part of the Revelation manuscript we have. It
is
also in many of the oldest manuscripts. Just some simple truths and
things
to think about, and we will get back to what 616 probably represents.
Another
aspect of bible research is when you get into word definitions and
possible
other words that could have been used in translation. To include all
the
words that have just been transposed in to our language and not
translated.
Yes there are many of those too.
The greek word pharmakia and its other forms mean
pharmacuticals, or man made drugs. Yet, in most bibles it is translated
as scorcery or witch craft in Revelations, which is a far cry from
mixers of potions. Druggery today is of epidemic proportions. That
industry was the first to top a trillion dollar a year business.
Mankind has turned to druggery as an answer to it's many ailments. Yes,
the mixers of potions are very adapt at working on the symptoms, but
seldom on the cause. Not to mention the true far reaching practices of
the medical and pharmacutical professions. This is just one word of
research, in bible research. There are many more. As for the words that
are just transposed from one language to ours, try christ, yes, Christ.
Then there are Holy,
angel, demon, fallen angel, spirit, and others. All can be translated
into
our own language, why haven't they? That is why is is necessary to do
ones
own research. Most think they are getting the truth when they read
someone
elses so called research, are you sure? Make sure.
Now comes the really interesting stuff of our
Kingdom Research and where it led us.
Culmination of Kingdom Research.
